In Brief:
Bloomberg raises approval odds for spot-based XRP ETF to 95%
SOL, LTC, DOGE, and other altcoin ETF odds also increased

Bloomberg has updated its forecast for crypto ETF approvals, placing spot-based XRP ETFs at a 95% chance of approval by 2025. This comes as the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) shows increasing signs of engagement with ETF issuers—seen by analysts as a major green flag.

Previously, Bloomberg placed XRP ETF approval odds at 85%, but the revised figure suggests growing regulatory openness. Other cryptocurrencies also saw upward adjustments: Solana (SOL) and Litecoin (LTC) now also have 95% approval odds, up from 90%.

Meanwhile, memecoin-based ETFs—such as those for Dogecoin (DOGE) proposed by Grayscale, Bitwise, and 21Shares—have seen their chances rise to 90%.

Bloomberg's update reflects a broader market sentiment that 2025 could be the year of multi-asset ETF launches, not just limited to Bitcoin and Ethereum. ETF proposals for Cardano (ADA), Polkadot (DOT), and Avalanche (AVAX) also remain highly likely, holding steady at 95%.
