The attacks aim to trick users into unauthorized wallet connections. CZ cited preliminary data showing 39 victims had already lost $18,570 due to phishing-style exploits on CMC. He urged users to be highly vigilant and avoid signing or connecting wallets on unfamiliar or compromised websites. CZ also confirmed that affected users will be fully compensated by the platform team. The attacks highlight rising security risks in crypto-linked web infrastructure.
